Japan Market Vancouver’s mission is to celebrate and share the beauty of Japanese culture with our community!

While many people assume that Japan Market is a government-funded event like other large public festivals, we’re simply two small Japanese Canadian business owners, who are passionate about spreading the richness of Japanese culture.
Being vendors ourselves, we truly understand the needs and aspirations of our fellow vendors.

Our vision is to create joyful events that showcase local Japanese vendors, as well as non-Japanese vendors who are inspired by Japanese culture.
Japan Market is not just a vendor market – we also offer Japanese cultural performances, demonstrations and workshops.
By bringing together people from all backgrounds, we aim to foster deeper connections and friendships among Vancouverites.
