The Summer Japan Market 2025 returned to the Vancouver Art Gallery North Plaza on June 14–15, 2025, welcoming the start of summer with warm weather, vibrant energy, and an incredible turnout of over 8,000 visitors. The plaza buzzed with excitement as families, friends, and Japan culture lovers gathered outdoors to celebrate the season together.

We introduced a special summer campaign called “Eat Street Japan,” highlighting the flavors and fun of Japanese street food culture. Visitors explored a lively lineup of food vendors serving favorites like festival-style snacks, refreshing summer treats, and regionally inspired dishes. The aroma, the colors, and the joyful atmosphere made the plaza feel like a Japanese summer street festival!

Alongside the food, over 77 vendors offered a curated selection of Japanese and Japan-inspired goods — from handcrafted accessories and artisanal home items to traditional crafts and pop culture merchandise. Whether guests were searching for everyday items, seasonal gifts, or unique collectibles, there was something meaningful to discover at every booth.
