The Mini Pop Culture Japan Market took place for the first time at City Square Mall from December 12 to 14, bringing a vibrant mix of Japanese pop culture, anime, and cosplay to the heart of the city. Although it was a smaller-scale event, the market was filled with energy, creativity, and a strong sense of community throughout the three days.
With an estimated 3,000 visitors, the Mini Market successfully attracted both local foot traffic and visitors from afar. We were delighted to see shoppers enjoying the space, picking up unique items, and doing some last-minute Christmas shopping while supporting local small businesses.
Entertainment was a key highlight of the event and helped create a lively, welcoming atmosphere throughout the market. We were proud to feature a diverse lineup of performers, including familiar favorites and new faces. For this Mini Market, we were especially excited to welcome two new performers to our lineup: Maple Blossom and Photos with Furry Animals. With a theme leaning toward anime and cosplay, the performances added fun, color, and memorable moments to the event.
