The Spring Japan Market 2026 took place on February 21-22 at UBC Robson Square, bringing together the community for a cozy indoor market despite Vancouver’s rainy and cloudy spring weather. Even with the grey skies outside, the venue was filled with energy, warm conversations, and a shared appreciation for Japanese culture.

The event welcomed approximately 2,300 attendees, creating a steady flow of visitors throughout the market. Guests enjoyed exploring a diverse lineup of 62 vendors, featuring handcrafted items, Japanese imports, and a variety of unique products.

Food vendors once again played a central role in the experience. Many visitors came specifically to enjoy their favorite Japanese dishes and treats while discovering new vendors and reconnecting with the community.

Live cultural performances also added vibrant energy to the event, showcasing traditional and contemporary Japanese arts throughout the day.

If you couldn’t make it to the market, or if you’re looking to rediscover your favorite vendors, be sure to visit the 2026 Spring Japan Market Vendor Directory.
